Why isn't ShipStation syncing?
Option 1 - Check the shipment settings on the order
If you notice ShipStation isn't syncing check the sales order first and make sure the Ready To Ship button is toggled to the on position. This button must be toggled on in order for ShipStation to receive the order.
- Ready To Ship sends the order to ShipStation.
- Send Shipment advances its state to Shipped.
Note: An order will need to be in the approved state in order to mark it as ready to ship.
From inside the order, toggle the ready to ship button to the right-hand position:
Option 2 - Initiate a manual store update
Since ShipStation does not receive orders in real-time from your stores you normally won't see orders from Candid right after you click the Ready to Ship button. ShipStation does have a setting to automatically import your orders at periodic intervals, but this feature has a minimum of a two-hour delay between automated imports. This means your most recent orders may have not been sent to ShipStation yet. Initiating a Store Update will pull in the latest order information. To do this click on the update icon in the top toolbar:

Option 3 - Reconfigure a Store Connection
Reconfiguring a store connection is a standard troubleshooting technique that can resolve the most common store update issues in ShipStation.
You may need to reconfigure your store connection for the following reasons:
- You've updated the username and password of your account.
- ShipStation's authentication credentials for your store or marketplace have expired.
- An update has adjusted your store's URL structure.
- You need to adjust store settings that were set at the time of connection.
