How to change your subscription

You can change your subscription at any time by heading to your Settings page and clicking on Manage Subscription:


Then click on Change Plan for the subscription you would like to switch to:

On the next screen confirm your payment details are correct and click the Change Plan button again:

Your new plan will be start automatically and you won't be billed again for the old plan.


How to deactivate your account or cancel your subscription

If for any reason you would like to deactivate your account or cancel your subscription you can contact our support team and we will get that taken care of for you right away. You can also choose to downgrade or snooze your account if you just need a little break.

Downgrade option

We also offer a free subscription plan so there's no need to deactivate unless you really want to. With the free plan all of your information, orders, and catalogs will stay intact. You won't have as many features, but you will still be able to access all your information, orders, and catalogs if you need them. This is a good option if you're in the process of building your wholesale business and not quite ready to get started with Candid.


To switch to the Free plan, head to your Settings page and click on Manage Plan:

On the next screen click the Downgrade button:

Important Note: If you switch to our Free plan you will lose any special pricing or discounts you were previously receiving on your original subscription.

Snooze option

You can also choose our "Snooze" option for $10 a month. This allows you to pause your current subscription plan without losing the price you're currently paying for your account. This will prevent you from having to pay a higher price when you come back in case our subscription plans ever change. This is also a good option if you are currently on one of our legacy subscription plans or a discounted plan.

What happens with my data if I close my account?

Here's a quick summary of what does and doesn't get wiped, so you know what's still out there and what isn't.

What we delete:

  • All bank and credit card information we have associated with your Candid subscription and Candid Pay account.
  • All information associated with your Candid account which includes your ecommerce store integration, products, catalog, logins, and company profile.

What we keep:

  • Your past order history. This is so mysterious holes don't appear in your customers' records.
  • Your email addresses stay associated with these orders, so customers can still reply to old threads and reach you.
  • An internal record that you were once a Candid user. This is so nobody is able to sign up and fraudulently claim your old account.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds, Upgrading and Downgrading per our Terms of Service:

Refunds are processed according to our fair refund policy. For monthly subscriptions, full refunds are offered within three days of plan sign-up. After three days, we do not offer a refund or credit on monthly subscriptions.

For annual subscriptions, full refunds are offered within three days of plan sign-up. Between three and fourteen days, a full refund is offered with an early cancellation fee equivalent to two full months of the regular subscription plan price. After fourteen days, we do not offer a refund or credit on annual subscriptions.

All refund requests must be received by team@candidwholesale.com in writing.

Local laws (such as those of EU, UK, or Turkey) supersede our refund policy where applicable. Any upgrade or downgrade in your Service use will result in the new Fees being charged at the next billing cycle. There will be no prorating for downgrades in between billing cycles. Downgrading your Service may cause the loss of features or capacity of your User Account. Candid does not accept any liability for such loss.
