How to create product customizations

An optional add-on feature in Candid is the ability to create custom product fields that your buyers can use to customize the products they order from you. You can learn more about which plans include Custom Product Fields here: https://candidwholesale.com/pricing/

To get started, select the product that you would like to add custom fields to:

Then click on the Options tab:

Next, under the Options section, click on Custom Fields:

In the next section you can begin to add the custom fields that you want to be available for that product and its variants:

Note that you can make customization fields required or optional, depending on what you want to require from the customer when they submit an order for that product. You can also limit the text length if, for example, your product only allows for a limited amount of text.

In the example below we've created a customization option that allows the customer to choose the text they would like printed on a t-shirt:

If you would like to save time, you can copy your customizations to all of the other variants for that product:

If you're done adding custom fields to the product, you can close the product editor window. Otherwise, you can continue to add more custom fields as needed:

Now, your customer will see the "Customize" option when placing an order for that product:

On the order form the product customizations will be visible and easy to read & edit:
