How to edit product names and images

You can edit the name and images of any product in Candid. To get started find the product that you want to edit and click on its name:

How to change the name of a product

To change the product name click on the button that says Unsync & Edit:

Then type in the new name in the text box and the changes will save automatically. You can close the editor by clicking on the X and everything will be saved:

How to upload new product images

To get started click on Unsync & Edit:

You will notice after you click the unsync button that the logo icon will change from your ecommerce platforms logo to the Candid logo. This visual reminder is to let you know that your product images are being managed in Candid now:

Next click on the Upload Image button and select the image file from your computer that you would like to add:

How to change the order of your product images

Using the arrows you can move any image and change the order it will appear in your catalog:

What does Reset & Resync mean?

We noted earlier that when you click the Unsync & Edit button the logo icon changes. You will also notice the text on the button then changes to Reset & Resync. When you click on the Reset & Resync button that will allow you to reconnect to your ecommerce store.

A dialog box will appear asking you to confirm your selection. Click on "Reset & Sync" again to confirm you want to resync to your ecommerce store:

How to remove or unpublish a product image

When you hover your mouse over an image an X will appear. Clicking on the X will delete the image from your published images and move that image to the unpublished images section.

What are unpublished images?

Unpublished images will show up underneath your published/visible images. These images can be images from your synced ecommerce store or images you manually uploaded to Candid.

To add an image back, hover over the image and click on the plus symbol.
