Why isn't my Stripe account verified?
Sometimes your Stripe account may have trouble verifying your identity, this can be because there's a mismatch between the information you submitted. Sometimes it's just a typo or sometimes it's because of a recent name change such as what happens after some people get married.
Since the account verification stuff happens on Stripe's secure server, we can't make any changes there on your behalf. However, the quickest way to connect with someone who can help is to visit your Seller HQ in Candid (https://app.candidwholesale.com/selling) and click the Candid Pay tile:
This will take you to your Candid Pay dashboard, from which you can click the "Contact" link in the footer & start a chat with Stripe Support. Make sure you keep this window open, since you'll likely need to copy your account id from the URL:
This can be very annoying but ultimately it's why we're glad we've partnered with Stripe since the alternative is fraud. Luckily this is usually an easy fix and should only give you trouble once.
