How to select a delivery date

When the types of goods you buy are delivered to your doorstep instead of being shipped, you often need the ability to communicate with your vendor which day you would like your goods to arrive. When placing orders in Candid, you can select which date you would like your order to be delivered. Your vendor will then see your requested delivery date when they receive your order.

To select a delivery date, navigate to the "Edit Order" page of the order you are placing and click on the "Manage Dates" text:

On the next screen, select the date you would like the delivery to be from the calendar:

When you send the order to the vendor, you will be able to see the delivery date you selected on the confirmation screen:

When you look at your order history, you will be able to see your selected delivery date in the "Ship Window" column of your Orders page:

You will also see the delivery date on the finalized order:

Once the order is finalized, you can no longer edit the delivery date. If you need to change the date you can ask your vendor if they can change it. You can learn how to send a message to your vendor here: How to send a message to your vendor
